The number of cameras depends on the size of your premises, the number of entry/exit points, blind spots and your coverage objectives. As a general rule, a small office of 1,000 sq ft typically needs 4–6 cameras. Larger premises require a proper site survey — Pujaso offers free surveys to assess your specific requirements and recommend the optimal camera placement.
A DVR (Digital Video Recorder) works with analogue cameras and processes video at the recorder. An NVR (Network Video Recorder) works with IP cameras — each camera processes its own video and sends it over a network to the NVR for storage. NVR systems generally offer higher resolution, better scalability and easier remote access, making them the preferred choice for new installations.
Retention period depends on the hard drive capacity in your NVR/DVR and the recording settings (resolution, frame rate, number of cameras). Most installations are configured for 30 days of continuous recording. Higher resolution or more cameras requires larger storage. Pujaso can calculate the exact storage requirement for your setup during the site survey.
Yes. All modern IP camera systems and NVRs support remote viewing via mobile apps on both Android and iOS. During installation, Pujaso configures the remote access settings and sets up the mobile app on your phone — so you can view live and recorded footage from anywhere with an internet connection.
